My name is Robert Postal, and I am a Certified Personal Trainer. My certification is with ISSA (International Science Sport Association) and my business is RBP Fitness. The two pictures are both of me; the first was taken in September of 2007, when I was tipping the scales at 300lbs (that is my youngest, Toren with Goofey and I). The second was taken on March 17, 2008, 65lbs removed, and I weigh 235lbs. With that being said not only am I trained to help you achieve your goals I can relate with what you are going through.
In the mid-90’s I worked for Gold’s Gym in Portland, Or. Where I not only worked as a personal trainer, but I also worked with the APEX nutrition program that the gym provided for their clients. I ended up leaving the fitness industry and moved on in search of a better career. I ended up with a desk job working long hours. With the sedentary job and the addition of poor eating choices, inevitably I gained a lot of weight. With the increase in weight came potential health issues, sleeping problems, high blood pressure, and the risk of heart issues (they do run in my family). But the one thing that really bothered me was the lack of motivation to get out and enjoy my family. I have a great wife and three awesome boys (you met Toren earlier) and I do not want to leave them any earlier than I have to. So the weight loss goal was set and plan put into action. I had to change the way I ate and what I was eating; plus I had to get back into the gym on a regular and consistent basis. I took a lot of hard work and a change in my mindset, but it is well worth it. I feel much better physically and feel better about myself mentally. Since I have lost the weight I have found new energy, so getting out and spending time with my family is no longer a problem, I no longer snore (well not as much anyway), my blood pressure is back in line as where it should be, and I would like to help you make the same positive changes in your life and help you reach your fitness goals as well. It doesn’t have to be weight loss; I am more than capable of helping you get stronger, if that is your goal, or just helping you improve your over all health.
I hope that you find this page helpful and I look forward to hearing from you.
